Welcome to Edine. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before registering for, signing in to, or using Edine. By accessing or using Edine, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

Description of Services

Edine is a mobile application designed to support Quran reading and daily prayer reminders. Current and future features of Edine may include, without limitation:

• Quran reading and browsing;
• Prayer time calculation and display;
• Prayer reminder notifications;
• Bookmarks, prayer records, and language settings;
• Account management, account deletion, and user support.

We reserve the right to update, modify, expand, reduce, or suspend any part of the services as required by product development, operational needs, or legal obligations.

Accounts and Access

You may access Edine through supported third-party sign-in methods. You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide or authorize is true, accurate, and complete, and for safeguarding your account credentials.

If you become aware of any unauthorized access to or use of your account, please contact us promptly.

Acceptable Use

When using Edine, you must not:

• Violate applicable laws or regulations;
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attack Edine or its systems;
• Abuse the service through crawlers, bots, scripts, or other automated means;
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity;
• Transmit malicious code, spam, or harmful content;
• Infringe our rights or the lawful rights of third parties.

If you violate these Terms, we may take measures including limiting features, suspending service, or terminating your account, depending on the severity of the violation.

Religious Content Notice

Edine provides content and tools related to Quran reading, prayer times, and prayer reminders. While we make reasonable efforts to maintain accuracy, some content or time information may vary, be delayed, or contain discrepancies due to regional differences, prayer calculation methods, device settings, network conditions, or third-party services.

The information and features provided through Edine are intended for general assistance only and do not constitute individualized religious, legal, medical, or other professional advice.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, Edine and its associated interfaces, designs, marks, texts, graphics, code structure, and non-user-generated content are owned by us or the relevant rights holders.

Without our prior written consent, you may not copy, modify, distribute, display, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or otherwise use such content, except as expressly permitted by applicable law.

Privacy and Data

Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information are governed by the Edine Privacy Policy. If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and the Edine Privacy Policy regarding personal information processing, the Privacy Policy shall prevail.

Account Deletion and Service Termination

You may request deletion of your Edine account through the in-app deletion path or the web deletion page. After account deletion, data associated with your account will be deleted, anonymized, or retained as required by our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

We may also suspend or terminate all or part of the services if:

• You materially breach these Terms;
• Required by law or regulatory order;
• Necessary to maintain system security, address major technical failures, or respond to force majeure events;
• We otherwise reasonably determine that such action is necessary.

Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Edine is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that:

• The service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free;
• All content will always be accurate, complete, or up to date;
• The service will meet your particular needs;
• The service will remain permanently compatible with all third-party devices, platforms, or services.

You understand and agree that your use of Edine is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, Edine, including but not limited to data loss, business interruption, loss of profits, or reputational harm.

If applicable law does not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain liabilities, the above limitations will apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If material changes are made, we may notify you through in-app notices, website updates, or other appropriate means. The updated Terms become effective upon posting. Your continued use of Edine after the update means that you accept the revised Terms.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, excluding its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiations. If no resolution is reached, either party may submit the dispute to the District Court of Bogor (Pengadilan Negeri Bogor), which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
